Bioherald is an International Journal of Biodiversity & Environment (IJBE) published under the aegis of the Blue Planet Society, Allahabad, India. The periodicity of publication is biannual with two issues every year; first in the month of June and second in December. The journal considers high quality unpublished original research papers, review articles and short notes broadly on pure and applied aspects of biology including biodiversity, conservation, ecology, environment, ethno-biology, evolution, morphology, taxonomy, economic biology, bioinformatics, biotechnology, genomics, toxicology etc., which have direct or indirect bearing on the enrichment of science and welfare of the society. The broader canvass of the journal, reflects the fastly growing interests of the contributors towards the interdisciplinary approach and vanishing boundaries among the natural sciences. All the communications submitted to the Bioherald subject to blind peer review by at least two referees of the concerned field prior to the decision of the Editorial Board regarding the suitability of the article for publication in the journal. The papers received for the publication in Bioherald is refereed and edited by a large number of distinguished academicians and scientists from India and abroad in an honorary capacity.
